A stunning restoration of a
very beautiful piece of architecture.
Hawkins\Brown is working
closely with Hackney Council to carry out essential maintenance work and
restoring many of the building’s original features to upgrade key public areas
like the assembly room and bar shown here.
This will allow these
spaces to have a much wider use for both the council and community.
Standing in the bar is
reminiscent of a luxurious 1930s hotel and the bar marble is stunning both in
day and evening light. Even more so when the backlight illuminates its natural grain.
