A study of colours and verticals - exhibition at Art Marylebone June 14th - June 16th

One Year in Ashtidge, Summer Series, Untitled 3  edition of 15
For a period of 12 months from my Hertfordshire base, I photographed the historic beech woods of Ashridge, just outside Berkhamsted. This forest extends across 1,200 hectares, making it one of the largest areas of deciduous woodland in England. The images in One Year in Ashridge, which I see as a study in verticals and colour, document the passing seasons and the spectacular visible change as elements decay and fall away and new growth emerges, repeating the cycle from year to year.

I will be exhibiting this series at Art Marylebone part of the Marylebone Summer fair this coming weekend. A•M will be held in the beautiful setting of The Hellenic Centre, located at
16-18 Paddington Street, London W1U 5AS.

The fair opening times will be;

Friday 14th June - 6pm-9pm evening private view
Saturday 15th June - 10am-8pm
Sunday 16th June - 10am-6pm

Hellenic Centre, 16-18 Paddington St, London

The Life Goddess Café will be serving a selection of Greek wines during the evening, and upstairs in the Hellenic Centre Café they will also have a selection of Greek delicacies to taste and buy, as they will have throughout the duration of the fair.

'Marilyn' captured in the basements of The Savoy Restoration

Projects never seem to end but evolve and this is the case with my very popular Savoy|The Restoration project. Following on from its success last year with its solo show and book publication, I will be producing a small number of light box's from the series which will be available officially when the project is exhibited in Bologna, Italy later this year! More to follow on this as details are being finalised.

In the meantime, the first lightbox is on show at  Glebe Garden Gallery. Glebe Garden Gallery is a new venture by the artist Ghizlan el Glaoui and  lies in Chelsea’s Cheyne Row area, a magnet for artists for over a century. The gallery aims to host regular exhibitions showing a mixture of Arts to include painters, sculptors, and photographers. The concept of the gallery is to display modern art in a relaxed environment - reminiscent of a collectors own interior. The gallery is by appointment only.

Glebe Garden Gallery officially opened on June 6th with a fantastic exhibition from the artist Ghizlan el Glaoui. More on this to follow www.glebegardengallery.com
