One Year in Ashtidge, Summer Series, Untitled 3 edition of 15 |
For a period of 12 months from my Hertfordshire base, I
photographed the historic beech woods of Ashridge, just outside Berkhamsted.
This forest extends across 1,200 hectares, making it one of the largest areas
of deciduous woodland in England. The images in One Year in Ashridge, which
I see as a study in verticals and colour, document the passing seasons and the
spectacular visible change as elements decay and fall away and new growth
emerges, repeating the cycle from year to year.
I will be exhibiting this series at Art Marylebone part of
the Marylebone Summer fair this coming weekend. A•M will be held in the
beautiful setting of The Hellenic Centre, located at
16-18 Paddington Street,
London W1U 5AS.
The fair opening times will be;
Friday 14th June - 6pm-9pm evening private view
Saturday 15th June - 10am-8pm
Sunday 16th June - 10am-6pm
Hellenic Centre, 16-18 Paddington St, London
The Life Goddess Café will be serving a selection of Greek wines
during the evening, and upstairs in the Hellenic Centre Café they will also
have a selection of Greek delicacies to taste and buy, as they will have
throughout the duration of the fair.
