Fitzrovia Photography Prize Hoarding Launch by Diemar/Noble Photography together with Exemplar, Aviva Investors & Kaupthing

The exhibition of Fitzrovia Photography Prize by Diemar/Noble Photography together with Exemplar, Aviva Investors & Kaupthing will open Tuesday the 21st of February at Black & Blue opposite the Mortimer Street open air exhibition. All photographs are displayed on Hoarding and lit. Opening night is by invite only.

As a finalist, one of my Savoy photographs Thames Study during Savoy Restoration No. 3 was chosen (as shown here).  I will update you about the event after the opening, tomorrow - really looking forward to the seeing the photography in such a unique way.

University of Westminster Harrow Campus - Hawkins/Brown

The Fashion and Fine Art departments move to their new location after a number of years in a temporary building on the site. This photograph captures the atmosphere, as the department’s belongings are placed ready to welcome the first classes. Built with profits from his gilbert and Sullivan operas, richard D’oyly carte’s Savoy hotel opened in 1889. Its edwardian and later art deco inspired innards remaining as intact as its pedigree until 2007, when it closed its doors for a three-year, £220million refurbishment. photographer Siobhán Doran was lucky enough to witness the transformation. here, antique parrots and rabbits await their rehousing in the lancaster Ballroom.
